Connecticut Mortgage Rates Update - May 20, 2012 for February 17th, 2012

Mortgage rates in Connecticut averaged 4.20% this week for fixed-rate mortgages of 30-year terms, according to HSH.com, which surveys mortgage rates nationally. This is lower than the previous week’s average of 4.19% for Connecticut, and higher than the weekly mortgage rate of 4.19% across Connecticut a month ago.

How does this compare among other states? Current mortgage rates for Connecticut are higher than the national weekly average of 4.19%. Nebraska’s weekly rate of 5.25% was the highest of any state nationally, while the 3.86% found in Arkansas  was the lowest of any state.
